Employee Benefits 
  • Employee Benefits Account Manager: This senior level position is responsible for the management of a book of existing business and has the goals of account retention as well as identifying new business opportunities to better service clients. The Account Manager is the client’s go-to resource for their ever changing needs. Key activities include: successfully renewing and implementing new insurance policies, coordinating involvement from cross-functional teams and third party vendors, participating in long term strategic planning for clients and prospects, and developing long term exceptional relationships. A NYS life, accident & health license is expected at this position level.
  • Employee Benefits Senior Client Service Representative: This mid-level position is responsible for the evaluation, facilitation, and management of large and complex client and prospect benefit programs. They coordinate insurance renewals, develop and implement solutions to client issues, support the clients’ needs, and participate in cross functional teams to support clients. A NYS life, accident & health license is expected at this position level.
  • Employee Benefits Client Service Representative: This professional level position is responsible for the evaluation, facilitation, and management of small to medium sized client and prospect benefit programs. They coordinate insurance renewals, develop and implement solutions to client issues, support the clients’ needs, and participate in cross functional teams to support clients. A NYS life, accident & health license is expected at this position level.
  • Employee Benefits Assistant: This entry level position provides assistance and administrative support to the employee benefits department in order to meet the needs of clients. They are responsible for applying existing internal processes and effectively utilizing available technology. 
 
Human Resource Consulting Services 
  • HR Consultant: This professional level position provides a broad range of HR consulting services to clients including: risk management, HR administration, project based solutions, and total HR outsourcing. The HR Consultant also works closely with Austin & Co.'s benefits and commercial divisions to deliver strategic retention services to our clients.
 
Technology Services
  • Technology Services Specialist: This entry level position is responsible for providing support to our technology departments for the implementation, configuration, support, and delivery of human resources & benefits technology, to a diverse client base. The Specialist analyzes and interprets data, proactively identifies any issues, and recommends modifications & enhancements to our processes and systems. This position requires strong Microsoft Excel and database management skills. The Specialist is responsible for working with Electronic Data Interfaces (EDI) which includes the development, review, updating, and testing of these interfaces. This position participates in cross-functional teams to support our prospects and clients.
 
Commercial, Property & Liability Insurance
  • Commercial Lines Senior Client Service Representative: This senior level position is responsible for servicing the commercial lines business needs of larger and more complex clients. The Senior CL CSR will analyze the current commercial insurance policies, risk exposures, and coverage needs of new and existing clients. They will offer appropriate coverage change recommendations, prepare and communicate cost proposals to market, as well as place and service the clients business. This position participates in cross functional teams to support our prospects and clients. A commercial brokers and/or agents license is expected at this position level. 
  • Commercial Lines Client Service Representative: This professional level position is responsible for servicing the commercial lines business needs of our small to medium sized clients. The CL CSR will analyze the current commercial insurance policies, risk exposures and coverage needs of new and existing clients. They will offer appropriate coverage change recommendations, prepare and communicate cost proposals to market, as well as place and service the clients business. This position participates in cross functional teams to support our prospects and clients. A commercial brokers and/or agents license is expected at this position level.
  • Commercial Lines Technical Assistant: This entry level position is responsible for assisting in the servicing of our commercial lines prospects and clients. The service entails supporting the commercial lines team with the preparation of insurance documentation necessary for the renewal of client policies, processing the billing for the policies, and the preparation of the summary of insurance & certificates. This position supports our commercial lines assistants and participates in cross functional teams to support our clients.  A commercial broker license is expected at this position within a period of time after hire.
